This is how it all began
Valentine Day is around the corner and everyone tries to make this day special for their loved ones. I am no different and i decided to make it special for my wife. This time around i had planned to take her out on a short trip outside of Mumbai (that’s where I live, India). Being a co-founder of a technology company I prefer to get a lot of stuff done online, so there i was on my laptop planning my trip and some unique gifting ideas
Once the trip was finalized I decided to search for some innovative ideas to make it even more special for my wife. I was searching for a unique gifting ideas and after googling a lot i found something that was not only unique but also i was shocked and amazed to read it.
I decide to share my discovery with the world via GigaThoughts. ;-)
The idea was to buy a piece of land on Moon or i could even buy stars and own them. The first thing that struck me was that there are some real smart people out there trying to monetize whatever comes their way. Its astonishing to see that some people have built a revenue model around virtually nothing.
I decide to do further research and found out that i could even buy property on Venus, Mars, Jupiter, own a star, name a star and many more things. After spending a few hours online I came to a conclusion that I could virtually buy the whole galaxy. At the end for betterment of the mankind ;-) I decide not go ahead with the idea and I bought something more meaningful and tangible gift for my wife this time around. Maybe next time i will give it a shot.
